Musical Theater Master Class for Colleges and
Universities
A
one or two day Master Class with Broadway Musical
Director, Edward Strauss and nationally acclaimed acting
coach, Carol Fox Prescott to experience the guidance,
support and demands on the professional musical theater
performer before that big move to the world of New York
Auditions. Carol And Eddie have created a unique
career building seminar for the college musical theater
performer in which they will be exposed to and fulfill
demands of the professional audition and rehearsal
process. Encouraging enthusiasm, daring, and skill, we
address the most practical concerns, from “How do I
choose what to sing at an audition?” “How do I stay
focused in a long run?” to inquiries into the deep
personal nature of performance itself. All this within a
joyous, challenging and safe atmosphere.
Edward Strauss is a Musical Director, Conductor,
vocal coach and teacher with over thirty years
experience in the professional New York Theatre. His

the Way to the Forum (with Nathan Lane and later

Goes (with Patti LuPone). He conducted the Broadway
productions of The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Evita,
Very Good Eddie!, Baby and The Me Nobody Knows. He
