Dear Carol

 I haven't been in class this year and I do miss it.  The good news is that I have been working.  I've owed you a phone call or an email for quite some time now, and this seemed to be the perfect time to do it. 
I'm in Seattle playing Anita in West Side Story, and it's a dream come true role for me!  I can't tell you how much class and the tools you gave me to use when looking at a script, or going to an audition with
sides, or reading something cold has done for me.  I owe you a great deal of THANKS.  I never thought someone, let alone a Director or Choreographer would call me an "Amazing Actress"...........what? Me? 
My answer was I have amazing teachers.  Thank you so much for everything you taught me.  I know I have ALOT more to learn and I'm looking forward to getting back to class with you, hopefully soon. 
  I'm working for the rest of the summer but my Fall still has not been determined so hopefully I will see you then.  Thank you so much and I hope to hear from you very soon.
